That's right guys! Here is the first episode of the Behind the Scenes for the upcoming feature film "*69" from Director Elke Blasi. ANNOUNCEMENT: Brand New Project I Can Finally Talk About!

I CAN FINALLY TALK!

As you see, I haven't updated my blog for a little bit. The reason -- I have been working my ass off on a new project! The project is called "*69" and it's a KILLER! The film is written and directed by ELKE BLASI and I'm in the post production and Associate Producer role. Also, my manager, Erik Soiman, is an Associate Producer as well.

This film was shot on the Sony F900, and has amazing production quality. This is the biggest and baddest movie I've ever worked on. More importantly, the script is AMAZING. And that's the most important part!

HERE'S THE BIGGER ANNOUNCEMENT

We are in post production and will be posting videos almost daily about the entire process of getting this movie finished and out there. Trust me, we've got some INSANE things planned and I think you'll be surprised! 

So basically, you'll be coming with us on this "trip" to getting "*69" out there. 

And guess what... we will be asking for your opinions/ideas on certain scenes, Visual FX, etc.

Trust me, it's going to be ONE HELL OF A RIDE!

The Rundown

Ok, so last weekend, Nov. 13th - Nov. 16th, I was in North Carolina (Charlotte) shooting a show for Viscocity.net. When I got back, Erik Soiman (my manager) and I met with a fellow filmmaker who's got an INSANELY AWESOME film in post production. In fact, I'm helping tighten up some of the editing. I can't talk about it yet.

Sorry to be so cryptic. More information will follow. This one's going to be nuts. As "E" said to me, "We're riding the wave now. It's only going to get better from here!"

If I don't post before then, HAPPY THANKSGIVING ya'll ("Ya'll"... North Carolina's effect hasn't worn off yet...)!

RED, 28K Video...

Referencing this (more specifically, 28K):




Speaking in "Rebel Terms," the Scarlet with fixed lens will make me happy. Or if they offer mini-Red ZOOM lenses. Otherwise, the 5K Scarlet (the S35) would be nice but the Frame Rate only goes up to 30fps.

In "Pro Terms," Epic FF35 is, in my opinion, the sweet spot.
